Each packet of Habu Textiles 1/2 Silk Wool Loop contains 62yd/1oz, 60% wool, 40% silk. We suggest 4.5mm/US 7 as a starting point for a standard stockinette fabric.

1/2 Silk Wool Loop is a yarn that stands alone beautifully, yet also lends its body and grace to other yarns when stranded with them (consider Silk-Mohair Kusa for more cushy warmth or, at the other end of the spectrum, try Kakishibu Tokkenshi Silk or Tsumugi Silk for a twining contrast). Its bouncy bouclé gives you a delightful quick-knit at the same time that it produces fabric to warm and beautify.
